Located in the Historic Cambria Hotel, Sean Starr was asked to design something for the glass and interior pillars that would be a period-correct expression for the Petro Bar & Grill. The design elements were drawn based on architectural elements throughout the hotel lobby. The gilded glass was executed with a combination of copper leaf, gold leaf and water gilded 24 karat leaf.

Sean Starr is a Master Mason under the Grand Lodge of Texas A.F.&A.M. a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and a Masonic Knight’s Templar of the York Rite. His original artwork can be seen in Lodges in Texas as well as the Grand Lodge of Texas in Waco and in private collections of Freemasons across the United States. He has delivered lectures on traditional craftsmanship at museums, universities and Masonic Lodges around the world.
