In the Fall of 2023 we had the privilege of touring the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania followed by a tour of the Grand Lodge of New York. There are so many decorative details that I needed to see up close, in person to determine the methods and materials they used to accomplish the artwork. The trip did not disappoint, as you can see in the photos.

Sean Starr is a Master Mason under the Grand Lodge of Texas A.F.&A.M. a 32° Scottish Rite Mason and a Masonic Knight’s Templar of the York Rite. His original artwork can be seen in Lodges in Texas as well as the Grand Lodge of Texas in Waco and in private collections of Freemasons across the United States. He has delivered lectures on traditional craftsmanship at museums, universities and Masonic Lodges around the world.
